What to Expect After Wisdom Tooth Removal?

Temporary pain and discomfort – Pain and discomfort often follow after the anaesthesia wears off. Expect them to last for a few days to 2 weeks.

Avoid hard, chewy, or hot foods – They can irritate the wounds and exacerbate the discomfort.

Do not rinse or brush your teeth for the next 24 hours – This helps prevent bleeding.

Take medications as prescribed – These medications can help soothe the pain and discomfort.

Follow-up appointments – Your dentist will check if the wound heals properly and remove the sutures when necessary.
